Heartburn?

Lately I have been feeling like I have heartburn or acid reflux, but last night was terrible. I took tums to calm my belly and it didn't help. Usually it works right away. So I laid there in bed trying to sleep with this terrible pain and then once it would come on strong, it made my belly kill as well. I don't know if this is usual, but the pain I was feeling last night wasn't like the normal heartburn I get. Maybe it is just getting worse but I am not sure.

Has this happened to anyone that can let me know what to take to make this terrible pain go away?
