Xp: bloodwork at 30 week appt

So I went in for my 30 week appointment and the dr. Told me I need one more round of bloodwork. It's a repeat test for HIV - Hep and syphallis, 

she said they need a repeat of these later in pregnancy.

This seems beyond redundant to me. Had these tests in March for IVF, had them in Aug bc my OB would not accept bloodwork taken when I wasn't pregnant and now again!?!?! Not to mention my insurance coverage is brutal for lab work so each pop is at least $100.

i am going to oblige but am curious as to if anyone else had to do this?
