Starting to wean

LO will be one feb 12 and I would like to be done nursing. I've enjoyed it but I pump at work and I'm ready to be done. I have plenty of milk stored that will last us a few months past his first birthday. I'm nervous that I will be in pain. How do I go about weaning so that it is not to painful?
