Do I wake my 8 month old to nurse?

Hello all, 

I've noticed a decrease in my already low pumping output and I think it's because my body thinks I don't need to produce as much.  My son sleeps daily from 5:50-6 pm until 1 am (he doesn't nap well at day care). He nurses at 1 then again around 4 or 5 am.  I'm wondering if I should wake him around 8 pm to nurse again.  I use to pump at least 6 or 7 oz a day while I'm away from here but now it's barely 4 oz.

Do you think adding in a nursing sessions would help or should I just pump instead?  Thanks.
