Question from a mom to be

I am trying to think about my options. I'm a teacher and will be home for about 8 weeks with my LO. Has anyone ever ONLY pumped without actually breast feeding? I'm sure this sounds ridiculous, but I don't think pumping at wok will be an option.....and I want to make sure she accepts the bottle...has anyone done both simultaneously? Please forgive me in advance for sounding like an idiot. TIA!
