Navy Wife - Traveling after delivery

Hi Ladies,

I'm due August 8th. My husband just got the contract he wanted for the Navy, but it puts his bootcamp date at June 3rd. It's a 10 week bootcamp which means he will graduate probably a week or two after I deliver.

I REALLY want to go to this graduation because I won't be able to see him again for several months after that because his training is really intense. I would have to travel from Dallas to Chicago to be there. Any ideas on whether travel would be safe, and whether driving or flying (either way with someone) would be better?
