Skipping bottles

So I guess we're skipping bottles. DD refuses to take one despite multiple attempts with practically every bottle in every type of situation. DS will take one, but with his sister vetoing the idea, it's pointless.

I know we still have a while, but when can I expect them to use a sippy cup and what's the best way to introduce them? Also, I've heard straw cups can be easier to master - any truth to that?

I'd love to hear other's experiences.

I love BFing, but I'm looking forward to having the option of leaving them for more than 2/3 hours. TIA
