Afternoon crash tips?

Danger Baby (DH and my nickname for baby-to-be, given how high risk I am) is sucking all of my energy. I am dragging pretty much all day, but at around 2-3PM, I crash hard. It is all I can do to stay awake until 6, walk to the subway like a zombie, and try not to sleep on the train so I don't miss my stop and end up in CT. It seems cruel and unusual not to have caffeine (I know it can be okay in moderation, but I have other medical conditions that make it off-limits). Anyone have any nifty tips for not passing into a light coma mid-day? My boss is lovely, but I don't think he'd like seeing me at my desk passed out in a pool of drool.
