excited to be dilated

I had my 36 week check-up today. The nurse asked if I wanted to be checked and I said I did. The doc asked if I was having contractions but I was not. I told her I was just curious. As she checked me she said, "Holy moley!" We were both surprised that I am between 2 and 3. I wasn't dilated at all last week. Especially since my DS I was at 1.5 for a couple of weeks. I know it could still be a few weeks and I want little Brady to be in there as long as he needs, but I was excited.
