beer to stimulate milk supply?

i thought my milk came in but when i went to pump pretty much nothing came out & i am not feeling like my breast are full anymore. i know that some moms just can't pump & it isn't a low supply, but i want to be sure he is getting enough so i am looking into ways to stimulate supply. i had my mom bring over non alcoholic beer that i just drank a bottle of, hoping this works. heard from a couple of friends that it worked for them. anyone else heard beer or had any luck with it? any other tips?
