Induction Stories Needed

Repost from Jan board, but I figured I'd reach more ppl here...

Have any of you had successful inductions who weren't dilated at all to begin with? Trying to prepare myself for the worst case scenario since my cervix is not cooperating. The whole induction process just makes me want to skip right ahead to the nearly inevitable c-section... getting frustrated

I know a lot can happen between now (39wks 6days) and next Fri, the 25th which is my tentative induction date. I have another appt next Wed to reassess where I'm at, but as of now, I'm not dilated at all. I also told my Dr that more than likely I'll cancel that induction and wait til the following week, pending results of my NST next Wed. Apparently it's easier to schedule and cancel than to fit in last min.
