Rant natural versus chemical remedies

Do people not realize that natural remedies are chemicals too? Water is a chemical! It has a set formula and is therefore a chemical. Most chemical remedies are derived from natural remedies. Scientists isolate the active ingredient in the natural remedy and duplicate it. By doing this they can have better control over dosing. This is how chemicals like aspirin came about, by analyzing its formula in nature and reproducing it in a lab.

When dealing with natural remedies it is harder to make sure that the active ingredient is always present in the same amount, it can make overdosing or under dosing more common.

Just because its natural doesnt make it better or safer and just because it is produced in a lab doesn't make it evil, often it means it is more accurately controlled for correct dosing and formula consistency.
