Unsuccessful with first, success after?

Hi ladies,

I'm just curious if anybody was unable to breastfeed baby#1, but was able with baby #2+?

With DS I had a terrible time trying to breastfeed, had horrible nurses, and it was all just bad. I ended up with black, bleeding nipples from bad latch, and every shift of nurses telling me the last shift told me wrong info and I was doing it wrong, etc. I ended up giving up.

Now, trying for a second, I have the same ultimate goal, which is to EBF if we are blessed with another. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and come out on top the second time around.
