your weight and milk

In my constant pondering about why I don't make enough milk for LO, I began wondering if there is any correlation between weight gain while pregnant and milk production. Did mamas who aren't making much milk not gain much while pregnant? I gained about 30 lbs. My SIL gained over twice that, and had great milk production. Hmmmm.....

And, I've lost 20 of the 30 now at 3 wks.
