There is NO end in sight!

I was due on the ninth and still no baby. Now, it is to be expected that I'm late because I'm a first time mom, but I dropped at 34 weeks, so I've been carrying him VERY low for so long now. The kicker is, I haven't had a SINGLE contraction, lost my plug, NO dilation, nothin! I'm 6 days over due and there is literally no sign that its almost over. My doctor is wanting to induce on Monday. Of course, I'm anxious and I want him here so the waiting is killing me, and I really wanted to avoid induction but it seems like that's my only option.

Anyone else deal with this?
