So, after a week of contractions, including 6 hours of strong contractions 5 mins apart and lasting 60-90s friday night, I went ahead and let OB do another exam. I was really on the fence about it up until I had my fluid check u/s and we had trouble finding DDs head she'd gone so far down! Well, last week i was 3-4cm 50% effaced. 1 week later I am now almost 5cm, 80% effaced and -3 station... Hopeful we'll see DD by end of the week but who knows?! But it was so reassuring to know that the days of 'is this labor?' & "why did it stop?" were making changes
