flu shot and BFing?

My company offers the flu shot. There is a waiver to sign, and it says if the employee is currently TTCing, pregnant, or nursing, they have to get a signed note from their doctor. Does anyone have any info on this? I sort of assumed it was b/c of the allergy-to-eggs thing? Does this apply if the LO is older? (My LO is 18mo.)
