Bridesmaid Invite
So this weekend a girlfriend of mine asked me to be in her wedding in Sept. at that point Baby will be 6 weeks old according to my EDD. She knows I'm pregnant so she told me to think it over and understands if I don't feel up to it. Also, it is 3 hours away from home in upper Napa and it will be a Friday through Sunday affair once rehearsal, wedding and Sunday brunch are included.
SO question for any STMs out there, would you be up to bridesmaid duty at 6 weeks past EDD for a whole weekend away? I could potentially ask my mom to come with to help me and DH with babysitting but I have no idea what to expect as this is my first pregnancy. However, I'm totally honored to be a bridesmaid as she was in my wedding too. I don't want to let her down by refusing but I also don't want to take away from her big day if I'll be worrying about my 6 week old the whole time and potentially sleep deprived. Not to mention I have no idea how to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress before that.
Thoughts? Is this doable?
