Best nursing positions for reflux?

My little guy has moderate reflux, dx at 8 wks. Before we noticed it he was content nursing pretty much any way, we side nursed a lot at night which I liked. now with the reflux does he need to stay upright? It's just so awkward holding him that way and I don't think his latch is near as good, then he gets more air anyway which doesn't help the reflux. He is on meds so we have seen improvement, but there are some days we are nursing and he cries every time he swallows, it breaks my heart, we stop and burp and go at it again, but it's trying to say the least. I also think I have a pretty fast let down which can't help.
