Shield Weaning ?

After 14.5 weeks of refusing to nurse without a shield, LO finally decided to latch on without it yesterday morning!  (Hooray!)   She's been nursing now without it for every feeding excpet the middle of the night one.  However....

Yesterday I noticed her nursing times were shorter... dropping from 20 minutes to closer to 10-15 minutes.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Do you think she's just more efficient without the shield or is she just tiring out quicker and calling it good?

Then today she had her first ever green poop.  Related or just a fluke?

Tonight she seemed fussier after her feedings so I offered the breast with the shield to see if she wanted to eat more.  One feeding she nursed for another 10 minutes with the shield.   The second feeding she continued fussing at the shield so we called it good.
