false alarm. feel stupid.

I woke up at 2:30 with a noticeable amount of liquid discharge in pj bottoms so I thought I was leaking my water. I have already lost my plug over a week ago but my contractions are no more than menstrual feeling at best and are very sporadic.

called doc on call, she asked if I was dilated and I told her that at my earlier appt my ob told me I was at 3cm so she told me to go ahead into triage.
Well after being examined by the rn and the doc they sent me home : I feel bad bc my hubby and my mom both work tomorrow
The discharge is probably just from the membrane stripping I had done at my appt. Who knows. I'm a ftm so all of this is just foreign and quickly becoming frustrating :

I feel so stupid and hope my son comes soon. This is really wearing me out and I know my loved ones are probably sick of me at this point :
