I obviously take my prenatals and I also take probiotics. I've had a cold for a while so I added in some C and D. The nurse at my OB's office said they only recommend that I stick with the prenatals, but the amount of D is quite small in them (200iu). I was taking an additional 1000ius.
DS #1 takes his flinstone and a probiotic. His flinstone has 400iu of vitamin D (notice that's more than my prenatal has). Because of all the illnesses going around and the fact that he isn't getting out in the sun as much, I got him a D supplement (an additional 400iu). The nurse at the pediatricians office said to stick with just the flinstone and probiotic.
Is too much D bad? Is this even too much D? What do you take?
