Eventful first week in 3rd tri

I went to L&D yesterday to be assessed because of pressure I was feeling. They hooked me up to the monitors and watched him while looking for contractions. Very mild ones only when he moved, 6 total and only felt tightening on 1 of them.

So the next step was a swab to test for preterm labor (OUCH!!!) Then a swab to double check there is no amniotic fluid. Once that came back negative she checked my cervix, no joke I swear her arm was up there lol no pain just pressure.

Good news I'm not dilating, I'm not at current risk for preterm labor and he is growing strong. Cervix is softening but it is high and closed
