Today's Emergency Appt and My Inability to Listen...

This  morning I made an appointment to see the OB since I had *purple* discharge this morning, and after almost 2 full weeks of a rainbow of discharge.  I needed to make sure everything was okay.  Anyway, after a pelvic exam, we went into a sono to check the heartbeat.  I could have sworn the doctor kept seeing the heart rate was 78, and said it's looking good and the normal range for this stage is between 110-180.  I didn't understand why it was okay if it was under the range...Well on our walk to the car, DH told me she said 178, not 78.  Yeah, that makes sense. Despite the fact that the doctor said 178 numerous times, I kept hearing just 78.  Well, anyway, she said everything looked good and I'm happy at that heart-rate;)  78 would be no good.
