Breast pumps and Insurance

Hello, 

I am planning on attempting bf'ing with my 2nd DS (didn't work out with first).  So, I am getting my ducks in a row in case it all works out.  I emailed my insurance co. to inquire about coverage and this is the response:

 "Under your State BlueCare POE health benefit plan, breast pumps are contractually excluded from your policy."

I have read posts about insurance and covering the breast pumps and I was wondering if anyone has gotten a "generic" response like this and then  pursued it further.

 I am about to start my research but personal experiences always help put things in perspective.
