Silly question

So since I am starting to relactate, my daughter finally latched on yesterday for the first time since birth (with a sheild) I don't get out much supply when I pump, but what I want to know is how do I actually know she is getting anything? I can hear her swallowing, but how do I know she's not just swallowing spit or something lol. I know it's a silly question, but I haven't ever been able to get her to latch so it's new to me to be able to feed her from my breast.
