STM+ notice a difference in movement

When I was pregnant with DD, she moved/kicked (always had normal kick counts so no worries) but it's NOTHING like I am experiencing with this LO. Could it be that it's a boy instead of a girl, or just different babies? DD would shift back and forth, but after this point she wasn't much of a kicker, the occasional stretch but that's it. This little guy is ALWAYS moving, stretching, kicking, hiccuping, etc. Everyone says boys are more active later, wondering if that's true during pregnancy as well...

Anyway- just amazed...
