Off topic-Toyota Highlander??

I'm sorry to be going off topic here, but my husband and are now in a rush to buy a car.... Unexpectedly.   We are leaning toward going with a highlander.  Anyone have one? If so how do you like it?  This will be our first suv and our first baby but we're trying to plan ahead for needing a bigger car for 5+ years down the road.

 We're thinking of saving some money by going with a base model but I'm worried about the durability of cloth seats with a baby.  Do their cloth seats hold up over time or get gross after years of kids wear and tear??? I may just spend the extra money if the interior will end up looking trashed.
