Confused about insurance coverage...
Does anyone really know what the new laws mean? I was under the impression that insurance would have to cover breastpumps at 100% as of the plan renewal period, which for my insurance was 1/1/13.
But I called today and the representative didn't see anything specifically about breastpumps, and said they were covered as 'durable medical equipment' at 80%. I would really like to rent a hospital grade pump again if I could for free, and I am just not sure what the answer really is.... I have United HealthCare Options PPO if it matters.
