Unfortunately my DD and I have thrush. She is almost 11 months and only nurses 34 times a day. I'm also 8 weeks pregnant. She just started her 4th round of antibiotics for a stubborn ear infection on Friday. Her pedi pointed out the thrush but just told me to push lots of yogurt and that I could give her probiotics in addition. I got home that evening to find that she also has a terrible yeast rash that causes her to scream at each diaper change and grab at it. I also noticed that I am experiencing thrush symptoms as well. I'm afraid that just eating yogurt isn't going to fix this. I've been using lotrimin on my nipples and DD's rash, but I'm not sure what to do about her oral thrush. It looked a lot worse yesterday than it was on Friday and she also has to continue on the antibiotic, so I'm sure it is going to get worse before it gets better. Any advice?
