Working Mamas- Tell me about your maternity leave policy

This is just out of pure curiosity.....

I am just wondering what your M/L policies at work are like. I am given 12 weeks after birth that are paid, then I can take an additional 12 weeks unpaid and still be guaranteed my position when I return. I plan to take the full 12 weeks paid, then maybe a few more unpaid so that I don't have to come back until after the 1st of 2014.
