Breast Pump Parts

So I wanted to know when do you replace the parts to the breastpump. I think my parts are fine but I saw someone mention that you should replace the white membrane after a month. I havent done that because I wash it after each use. I go back to work on Wednesday so I am concerned about making sure everything is in working order.
