Confused about nursing clothing

I received a gift card for ON for Christmas and was going to buy some nursing clothing.  But what is better?  Nursing bras to wear under regular shirts, nursing tanks, or nursing shirts? And with a nursing tank, I've notices some you unhook, while others you just pull aside. So couldn't you just wear a regular tank and pull it aside?  Do the tanks provide enough support? And are nursing shirts/tanks more like maternity shirts in the stomach area?  Too many decisions for this ftm-help!
