Baby Shower?

My wife is 17 weeks today, and she's been wondering when someone would ask her to throw her shower for her. We threw our friends shower 2 years ago and they have not yet offered. When we first heard the news, my wife immediately asked to throw hers. Needless to say with all the raging prego-mones she's pretty butt-hurt over this.

 

My question is, what should I do as a husband? Do I make a posting on Facebook hinting that no one's volunteered? Do I sit back and hope that someone volunteers? Most of our close friends are out of state, except for this couple.
