Alright I was just wondering if any one else has had his experience.

I've always wanted marriage and a family, but I have been absolutely floored at how many people will tell you not to ever get married and how many people with kids tell you to neeeeever have kids. That they ruin your life, they sap your time and your 'life right out of you' etc.

Im going to be a first time mom and I'd like to be able to look forward to it without people looking from my baby cousin who is screaming, then over to me and saying all snarky "yeah...get used to it!!!" Like they expect me to go pale and think I've made a bad decision.

I know kids are a lot of time and effort, but im looking forward to my new life defined as a mommy. Guess the last post about making posts more interesting got me to finally spit this out.

stm's: any thoughts? Also just needed to vent I guess.
