3rd Trimester

WWYD - induce and have your doctor or wait and not

So my due date is Monday, and my doctor recently told us he is going on vacation for 2 weeks on Monday....

We have an appointment and we were considering asking to be induced this weekend so that we can have our doctor.

I originally wanted to avoid induction at all costs, but the thought of a stranger delivering my baby is stressing both my husband and I out.

Would you just wait it out and take whatever doctor is there, or would you choose to get induced guaranteeing that you will have your doctor?
