Spot of blood

I will be 36 weeks tomorrow.

Just went to the bathroom and saw a spot of blood on my underwear. When I wiped, there was very little fresh bright red blood there too.

I did (stupidly) make an attempt to shave "down there" while in the shower about an hour ago.... would it still be bleeding if I cut myself? Or is this a bigger sign? Again, it was just a spot (like if I wasn't pregnant, I would definitely think my period was coming) but it was bright red. No mucus or any other discharge appeared to accompany it....

I am hoping that my baby girl stays put until around the 18th because of maternity leave/work related issues!

Any ideas ladies???
