Breastfeeding

Weaning questions

Is it me or is there anybody that thinks it won't be that hard to wean...emotionally speaking for their child. I don't think my DD will have a hard time. She's always pretty much got on the boob and off pretty quickly to feed. I'm not sure if she is that in love with nursing and the comfort of it all. She eats well and I don't usually have a problem feeding her. I've never held her while doing it. She just lays on a boppy pillow. I have loved the experience and the closeness of it but I'm not sure about her...hahaha. I would say we cuddle more when not nursing.

Anyways, how would I go about starting the process after the year mark? Also, what can I expect to happen for me physically? How much will I have to pump to relieve and how long will it take to dry up?
