When should I start pumping?

My LO is 3.5 weeks old and is EBF. I'm going back to work in 3 weeks. How soon do I need to start pumping to build up a supply to have for him during the day while I'm at work? I had to supplement with formula for a day or two when he was just a few days old because of jaundice and he took right to the bottle so I'm not concerned about that. I just want to make sure I have enough of a supply on hand. TIA!
