movement changes?

I was just curious to know if as your body starts to prepare for labor, does it affects babys movements? like do they slow down or increase?

this one lady told me, that if i don't feel baby move as much not to worry bc it means she moved into my pevlic bone and is getting ready to come out.

i've noticed that yesterday  & today baby has been pretty quiet. and i've felt 'movement' but it was so light that i'm not even sure if it was baby.

last week at my appt i was 1cm 60%. my next appt is thursday. so i'll see if there is any progress then.
