Pregnant after IF

F/U To CL Post

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well and enjoyed the hoildays!  I haven't been on the boards in a couple weeks b/c I've been off work.

I posted a few weeks ago that I had an u/s for spotting at 11 1/2 weeks (couldn't find the cause) and they measured my cervical length...the u/s tech thought it was under 2.5cm but wasn't sure b/c it was curved and she couldn't get a good measurement, but the attending (who's an MFM) thought it was too early to measure, couldn't be measured accurately b/c of the curve, and no follow up needed.

I asked my OB to please check it again.  She said she wasn't too concerned b/c I've had 1 full-term pregnancy and second pregnancies usually tend to follow the same course.  She sent me for an u/s anyway and at 15 1/2 weeks it was between 3.0 - 3.2 cm.  I haven't gotten a call so I assume my OB is OK w/ this (she's an MFM also and tends to be very cautious).

I stupidly googled and it seems most people have much longer CLs than this but I'm just trying to leave it in my OB's hands!  So anyway that's the update...
