I don't know if this is a silly question or not...So here goes:
Is there a way to help strengthen/boost your milk supply before giving birth? With my daughter, I just could not produce enough milk. I tried the lactation cookies with brewers yeast, Mother's Milk Plus with fenugreek, prescription Reglan...I was under the care of a lactation consultant. I pumped with a hospital grade pump to help boost as well when I wasn't BFing. I lasted 7 weeks (with what little BM I had + with formula) and that was because I was stubborn. Towards the end of the 7 weeks, I don't think I had any milk.
Now that I am pregnant again, I want to know if there is anything I could possibly do to prepare my milk supply for the new baby. With my daughter, I had no problem with latching. I never felt my milk come in or fill my milk drop. I had no sensation. I just saw white when I was seeing colostrum.
