Breastfeeding

Never/Rarely pumping?

First time expectant mother here with some questions. I plan to EBF and will stay at home long-term. I understand that I can't anticipate everything that will happen, and something might come up health-wise, etc, but I just want to plan as much as I can.

If I will stay at home, do I need to pump at all? Is there anyone on here who never pumps at all, or does everyone do it at least a little bit? Are there pros and cons to pumping some or not pumping at all/never bottle-feeding?

Did you buy a pump beforehand, or wait to see how things went? What would you recommend? What about bottles? I'm inclined to wait and not buy anything unless I need it. Maybe a manual pump to start with? Does anyone actually use those much?

Thanks for any tips/advice/experience.
