On Christmas Eve I found out I am expecting #2. I am still exclusively breast feeding dd, but we do plan on introducing solids next month when she is 6-months-old.
Has anyone out there had a young nursling while pregnant? Since I was following lam guidelines, I'm in the 2% of women who can even get pregnant in the first 6 months. With those odds, there isn't much info out there to read. I'm getting frustrated reading things about toddler nurslings that nurse less frequently and can depend on solids for nutrition.
I would hate to have to give up nursing and switch to formula. At the minimum, I want to make our nursing relationship last until she is one in July, but I'd prefer to tandem nurse.
I'd love advice on maintaining my milk supply at a high level while pregnant. If you have any tips, please share them.
