Lightning pain in breasts?

DS in 6w and I EBF.  Lately (7-10days) I have been experiencing lightning pain in my breasts, mostly on the right.  It lasts a second or less, and doesn't happen when I'm nursing.

I am paranoid that I may have thrush, as DS was on antibiotics for the first 3 wks of his life, and subsequently developed yeast diaper rash.  The diaper rash was treated and has been cleared, and he is no longer on antibiotics.  Last pedi check-up he does not have thrush.

My nipples are not red, and not tender to touch.  There's no flaky skin and no itchiness.

I do get nipple pain when DS latches on initially, for about 2-3 seconds.  His latch is shallower now than before b/c I have a forceful letdown, and I think he has learned to latch shallower in order to control the flow.  I wonder if it's because of the shallower latch that is causing the pain, but again, the lightning pain is most noticeable when I'm not nursing.  Or could this be vasospasm (but my nipples don't turn white)?
