Ds is generally a very easy baby. Ds1 had serious reflux and cried all the time. Ds2 only fusses when he needs food, changed, sleep etc.

However, the past week or so ive noticed a big change. Hes now 8 weeks old and is developing what looks to me like very painful gas/poop. It seems to be getting progressively worse.

Ive tried mylicon, zantac, and gripe water over the past 2 weeks, and his belly seems to be hurting more each day. 2 weeks ago, his pedi did a blood test, hes also jaundice, and in this test an allergy was detected. More blood work was run yesterday to find the specific culprit.

Since the allergy was detected, ive started eliminating dairy and soy from my diet. But he seems to be getting worse.

I should also mention that other symptoms include mucusy frequent spit up, nasal and chest congestions, and heat rash on face, neck, and chest.

I also drink a fair amount of caffeine...cutting back, and have a very strong letdown.
