I know it varies depending on the baby, but this came up in my birth month group. It seemed like all the other babies were now only nursing about 4 times a day and getting 2-3 meals of all kinds of food.
My daughter is 7.5 months old and still nursing 7 times a day (or 4 nursing sessions and 3 bottles of BM when I work). She has minimal interest in solids and will only take 3 ounces of baby food max per day. I planned to make all my own baby food, and that went out the window because so far she will not take anything with even a slightly thicker texture. She seemed to be ready at 6 months (sitting up on her own, had two teeth, 85th percentile for height and weight) but it's been very slow going.
Does this sound OK for her age? I just feel like I'm doing something wrong here. I'm committed to doing this until 12 months but after that I just really want to be done, and it feels like she has no interest in food and I'm going to be BFing her forever.
