Clogged ducts--am I doing something wrong?

I have been EPing for a month due to LO's latching issues. I pump 7-8x a day for 20 each session and I am producing about 24oz a day. I just got a 2nd clogged duct in my right breast --- had one a week ago in my left. Very painful!

Am I doing something wrong or is this normal? What causes clogged ducts? How can I prevent clogged ducts?

Makes me almost want to quit & just give formula
