How to correct a latch with an older baby

Trying a different approach to my earlier question:

DD is 10 months old. She's had two bottom teeth for a few months now, but the top teeth just finally broke all the way through this week. 

For the past 36 hours, I've had a very sore place on my nipple, right at the base on the top, where it attaches. I can tell that it's from her teeth - but she's not biting me. I know it's her teeth because if I switch positions, that particular spot doesn't hurt, but wherever her top teeth land does hurt. 

I'm thinking she doesn't have a good latch, though she's never had any problems nursing. Is there anything I can do to improve it somehow?
