Chomping at 2.5 months old

For the past 2 days or so lo seems like he is trying to gum me to death during our feedings. He will latch well eat for a while and then out of no where start chomping at my nips. I had problems with soreness and I thought we were past that but with this chomping and agressive eating I am getting sore all over again. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this normal? Will he stop? Any help would be appreciated.
